Different churches provide meals each day of the month. We sponsor the first Tuesday of every month. From its beginnings in the 1980s, the program has grown from serving about 40 people daily to about 75 daily. We need your help to keep this program running. Each week the vegetables and fruits are laid out (just like the video below) on large tables under a tent at Patrice’s Farm, 33 Gunstock Hill Road, Gilford (off Route 11A – between the Village and the bypass). Pickup is either Wednesday from 4-6 pm, or Saturday from 8-10 am. You will see the bright yellow CSA sign on 11-A and Patrice’s Farm big white sign just up the road. There is plenty of off-street parking.

If you want to ship an order, click the Ship button in column two and all the add-to-cart buttons under your choices in column two only. We only ship items from column two.

E-check or credit card payments are processed by Paypal’s Secure site which charges $2 per order, (not per item.)

We are 4 small local, organically-growing, or Certified organic farms who have joined forces to offer the freshest produce. No big trucks rolls in from Boston Market or anywhere else. Patrice’s Farm – pesticide-free organically-grown veggies, Ramsay’s Farm – Local Veggies and fruits, Red Manse Farm – certified organic, and Heritage Farm – local corn and free-range eggs -provide the products. Maple Creek Farm – USDA lamb. All are licensed and inspected according to State of New Hampshire laws and guidelines.

Join the Big Banana Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). Big Banana buys in bulk directly from local farmers for the best fresh and nutritious foods. Our goals are to:

• provide healthy, nutritious, fresh, locally-grown fruits and vegetables for our families
• encourage and support smaller, local farmers and producers.

As with any produce – proper storage, handling, washing, and preparing is essential.
